Job Description:
A company is looking for a Network Engineer III, responsible for
application engineering of telecommunications outside plant in a
local serving exchange environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work on engineering design for outside plant projects and fiber to
the home deployments
Review outside plant facilities for necessary upgrades and
enhancements
Maintain accurate cable records, apply for permits, and manage
right of ways and easements
Required Qualifications
B.S. or B.A. in Engineering or equivalent preferred, or 3 to 5
years of relevant experience
Experience in outside plant construction, project management, and
inventory management
Knowledge of outside plant design, cable count layout, and
capacities
Experience with right of way, private easement, and permitting
processes
Familiarity with engineering tools including FROGS/Spatial
Engineer, Adobe, Microsoft Word, and Excel
